Our governor (and apparently all of his aides) really is out of touch.
And, kids, if you are going to play with acetylene and balloons, don’t dispense the gas from the bottle and then transport the balloon in a car. There’s a reason it should only be transported in an approved container on a properly placarded and licensed vehicle.
10 Years ago today?
What were you doing 10 years ago today? Microsoft was putting lipstick on a pig and calling it the next version of Windows. That might be a little harsh, but Windows 95 wasn’t exactly the model of stability that Windows 2000 has been.

I’d say moving around as a kid kept me from picking up anything out of the ordinary or anything strongly region specific.
