Well, I’m having a tough time finding gifts for relatives and friends. Most will be getting cash or gift certificates, most likely cash.

I’m taking the stance that most people I know are lucky enough to be able to afford the things they need and still have the money left over for fun things. And I have very little idea what they consider to be fun, so I’ll let them decide.

On a somewhat related note, Chancellor Cantor has granted the morning of Dec 24th as a holiday. Too bad she waited until this week to tell me, I already had work scheduled for that morning. Guess I’ll just be making fewer people mad with network downtime.

And it snowed in Champaign today, so it looked pretty, until it turned to slush.
