As promised last week, here’s another glimpse of 15 years ago. We’ve both changed over the years, we’ve had ups, we’ve had downs, we’ve added a couple of offspring, but we’re still going strong. (Even when Alisha is pushing her comfort level to please the kids.)
I’m making a conscious effort to start writing here again. I feel kind of like Twitter has destroyed my ability to write anything longer than 140 characters.
No video yet, but Jonathan is crawling kind of regularly. And he’s walking with the laundry basket, just like his brother did.
Hopefully he’ll cooperate and I’ll get some video soon.
Jonathan rolled over several times today, according to the wife. Now, if he’d just get over whatever is keeping him up at night…
So, like with Robin, there are a few stories I should write down before we forget them.
So, Jonathan had an elevated bilirubin level while he was still in the hospital, so we had our first doctor visit the day after discharge. His level was still high, so we got another visit for the next day. At that second visit, his bilirubin was even higher, so he was admitted to Pediatrics for a 12 hour stay under a Bili light. He had dropped to 7 lbs even before being admitted, but is up to 7 lbs 1 oz by discharge.
He’s home now and seems to be feeling, eating and pooing much better.
Jonathan Allen Betka says Hello!
He was born 4/24 at 9:57 pm, weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19.5″ long. Mom and baby are doing fine, we came home from the hospital on Monday evening. More pictures.
mmmm, chocolate cake and ice cream!
It’s 1 year later and now he’s 2 years old and growing like crazy. More pictures of the party and playing with the new toys today.
Robin went out and played in the snow today.
And, he seems to be quite a bit happier in the snow this winter, big difference from last January.
